Actually there isn’t really one season for this since Typhoon coming around the year over Pacific, but indeed more intensive they usually come in Autumn. This year Typhoon starting tough during summer holidays and around Obon お盆 festivities, when Japanese pray for their deceased and family ancestors. Rumors say (Japanese superstition) it is in this time of the year when evil spirit may come from the mountains to the sea … Taifū pushing very strong a lot of wind&water from sea to land; already more than a dozen people died or injured along the coast line or rivers.
